Ashley Adams and Kevin Bowder, both of Salem, were married Dec. 14, 2007, at the Green Villa Barn in Independence. Paul Lopez performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Stephanie Collins of Texas and Mark and Cindy Adams of Lebanon. She was given away by her father. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 2003, Clackamas Community College in 2005, and will graduate from Corban College this May. She is a full-time student. She is involved with Corban's cross country program and has traveled to Costa Rica to attend W.A.Y.R.A., a Spanish institute. She helps her husband with middle school ministry at Salem Evangelical Church and interns with Head Start.

The groom is the son of Brad and Sheri Bowder of Salem. He graduated from Sprague High School in 2003, attended school at California's Biola University for two years, and graduated from Corban College with a concentration in Biblical studies in 2007. He is a youth pastor at Salem Evangelical Church and enjoys snowboarding, playing guitar, and surfing.

The maid of honor was Conni Neustel of Salem. Bridesmaids were Timisha Flesher of Elk Grove, Calif., Caylan Wager of Lebanon, Nicole Suderman of Salem, Danielle Jordan of Salem, Stefanie Pepperling of Corvallis, Kristin Bowder of Salem and Amber Traver of Salem.

The best man was Garett Vanhess of Salem. Groomsmen were Wendel Hayes of Salem, Matt Moravec of Portland, Cameron Curtis of Salem, Tim Evje of Stockton, Calif., Rob Sicora-Forney of Salem, and Jordan Cops of Dallas.

Flowergirls were Maddie and Olivia Bowder of Portland and greeters were John Jaskilka of Eugene, Betsey Fox of Eugene, and Allysse and Amber Adams of Lebanon.

The couple went on a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon.

They plan to make their home in Salem.
