Randi Chapman and Mike Belcher, both of Newcastle, Wash., have announced their engagement.

She is the daughter of Larry and Kim Chapman of Redmond, Wash. She graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima in 1998. She is a 2003 graduate of Western Washington University with a B.S. in business administration. She is a prosecution assistant at Intellectual Ventures.

Mike is the son of Andy and Marilyn Belcher, of Lebanon. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1986 and is a 1990 graduate of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is vice president of marketing for T-Mobile USA. He serves

on the Seattle Sports Commission.

The wedding is set for Sept. 6, 2009, in Snoqualmie, Wash.
