4:45 p.m. 28-year-old man arrested for possession of stolen property (vehicle) in the 200 block of Dodge St. Vehicle returned to the owner.

6:23 p.m. 19-year-old man arrested for public indecency in the 200 block of S. 5th St.

9:58 p.m. Man catches three subjects attempting to break-into a home in the 500 block of E St. Suspects left on foot. Damage to garage door: $100.

Tuesday, Aug. 19

6:14 a.m. Backpack with school supplies, Nintendo DS, games and charger taken from the 500 block of Ralston Dr. Loss: $258.

7:20 a.m. DVD/VCR player found on a trail near the 2100 block of S. 7th St.

3:23 p.m. Male juveniles holding up a sign and running into the roadway in the 400 block of Tangent St. were counseled on appropriate behavior.

4:37 p.m. Rock Band video game and backpack with clothing taken from Wal-Mart. Loss: $80.

5:26 p.m. 23-year-old female cited for allowing a dog to become a nuisance in the 200 block of Berry St. Officers had responded to the location several times in the last two weeks about a barking dog.

10:42 p.m. Two loud bangs, resembling gunshots, heard in the 1600 block of Hiatt St.

Wednesday, Aug. 20

6:33 a.m. Bike taken from the 1300 block of E. Grant St. Loss: $125.

8:59 a.m. Window shattered and two bikes taken from the 1500 block of S. Main St. Loss: $1,800.

5:00 p.m. Gas can and other boat equipment taken from the 1100 block of Eddie St. Loss: $40.

7:32 p.m. Vehicle broken into in the 1000 block of S. 4th St. Nothing taken.

9:24 p.m. Illegal firework set off in the 0-100 block of Market St. Another firework set off an hour later.

10:27 p.m. 44-year-old man arrested for domestic harassment in the 800 block of W. Carolina St.

1:13 a.m. Window broken out of a truck parked in the 0-100 block of E. Sherman St.

2:29 a.m. Bike taken from the 1200 block of E. Grant St. Loss: $100.

6:08 a.m. Vehicle vandalized in the 600 block of S. Main St. Loss: $200.

1:54 p.m. 24-year-old man arrested in connection with a domestic assault in the 700 block of F St. Charges are pending.

2:50 p.m. Cell phone taken from a locked vehicle in the 900 block of Park St. Loss: $60.

4:25 p.m. Car stereo, iPod, change, and identification taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of Kees St. Loss: $362.

7:53 p.m. 26-year-old man arrested on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft in the 500 block of Tangent St. Man also charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Friday, Aug. 22

10:22 a.m. Underground sprinkler found damaged at Lebanon High School. Loss: $25.

4:13 p.m. Air conditioner and other appliances taken from a home in the 600 block of B St.

6:29 p.m. 35-year-old woman arrested for shoplifting and criminal trespass from Wal-Mart.

9:48 p.m. 16-year-old male charged with criminal trespass at Linn Lanes.

10:45 p.m. Trailer containing paintball equipment taken from the 400 block of F St. Loss: $3,000.

Saturday, Aug. 23

12:03 a.m. Men ages 20 and 22 fighting in the 1800 block of S. 7th St. 20-year-old man cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

1:34 a.m. Females ages 16 and 15 referred to Linn County Juvenile Department for curfew violation. Juveniles released to parents.

8:16 a.m. Caller reported that after teasing a co-worker in the 2600 block of S. Santiam Hwy., the co-worker threw a candy bar at him injuring his lip.

8:38 a.m. Firewood thrown through a window in the 1900 block of Franklin St.

9:00 a.m. Caller alleged three pitbulls in the 100 block of E. Joy St. killed her chickens. Case forwarded to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

10:26 a.m. Mountain bike and laptop taken from the 800 block of Mountain River Dr. Loss: $1,000.

7:33 p.m. Several double-pane windows at Cascades Elementary broken. Loss: $500.

12:01 a.m. 15-year-old male trespassed from the 0-100 block of H St.

12:18 a.m. Female appearing to be 16 to 19 years old took an 18-pack of Bud Light from the 7-11 Store. Loss: $14.59.

6:40 p.m. Bike found near Mountain River and Russell Drs.

7:10 p.m. An underage female referred to the Linn County Juvenile Department for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

9:21 p.m. 43-year-old man taken into custody for detox in the 1300 block of S. Williams St.

9:49 p.m. 16-year-old female charged with parole violation on the original charge of minor in possession of alcohol in the 300 block of S. 8th St.

9:56 p.m. 25-year-old man charged with second-degree theft from Wal-Mart.
